IELTS:

There are two different intakes for students who wish to study in Canada. On the other hand, summer intake is shorter and less competitive, with only a few courses offered. However, students should make sure that they meet the minimum IELTS band requirements if they intend to take an undergraduate course in Canada.

Proof of financial support:

A sponsor may be a relative or parent, but the sponsor must have proof of the funds necessary to support the student. A bank draft in a convertible currency is an acceptable form of proof of funds. Other documents that may be used to support your application are bank statements and proof of payment for tuition and accommodation fees. An official letter from the person who is providing the funds is also acceptable. 

Landed assets as proof of the home tie:

One of the most important documents that an applicant must present as proof of their home tie is their landed assets.
